So once again I decided even though the first crowdsourced super sentai experiment I ran in a Facebook group was more than a bit of a headache, to run a second series. The first crowdsourced sentai was based on the crowdsourced project of taiko554, here on deviantArt. But for this second series I've changed things up a bit. So mirroring the "leaks" out of Japan about the "next" sentai series, I started off with a name, well a poll with 8 different names. Right away I saw 1 potential "series" shoot to the top and I was for sure certain that it would be the winning title before I closed the poll but then, "BAM" a real contender arose, so now almost 3 weeks into what I intended as a 2 week poll and I still have 2 titles tied for first.
As of this morning [23 September 2016];
Mighty Masked Force Ocean Man & Grand Mystical Force World Five remain tied. While 3 additional titles remain firmly in second place; Electromagnetic Task Force Voltage Man, Sterling Squadron Galactic Five, Explosive Squadron Torque Ranger. Without any votes; Ultimate Squadron Fang Man, Aurora Task Force Apex Man, and Five Star Valiant Task Force Suit Man, tied for last.
I used a web application [?] by Seventh Sanctum, a super sentai name generator to create these unique titles. It can produce 1, 5, 10, or 20 randomly generated names, I always did the max of 20 and did so repeatedly, to the sum of a few hundred "series" saved some 50 and pared those down to the 8 I placed in the poll. Honestly the leaders aren't even the one(s) I thought would get the most votes, but I have to remain impartial and run the polls.
**Edit: Mighty Masked Force Ocean Man,  won the first poll by a narrow margin. The second poll results; male Red, female Blue, male Yellow, male Green, and female White. **
***
Edit: an origin/theme of Military/Sealife was chosen, with the powers of; Whale, Squid, Otter, Shark and Ray. With power + ID pairings of Red Shark, Blue Ray, Yellow Whale, Green Squid and White Otter***

Hello Watchers and assorted DeviantArt Denizens!  LOL Lately I've been working on a little project for a Facebook #super_sentai and #power_rangers fangroup I'm in. In an experiment inspired by the Crowdsourced sentai project by fellow DeviantArtist Taiko554 , I attempted something similar in the group through FB Polls. The result was #Kyojinju_sentai_Keisho_V. But before I had done that I was working on my own super sentai original characters & concepts. A Sentai-verse of 7 teams, the first empowered by animals, the second three warriors from another world, next was a team empowered by the spirits of athleticism and sportsmanship, next would be a group of gamers fighting the good fight against an insidious cyber-intelligence, followed by a family of nature enthusiasts fighting dark spirits, next was five students fighting to regain pieces of themselves from demons, and lastly a trio of fighters from an apocalyptic future who gain a chance to prevent their future. I don't really know why I'm writing this maybe just to share, maybe out of boredom.... Mighty Morphing Power Rangers

I was recently indepentently for no reason other than I could and just something I kinda like to do and in my own humble opinion am pretty good at have been redesigning characters. Characters from my own OCs to public domain superheroes to just whatever strikes my fancy. So discovering something lile Project:Rooftop was bound to be an instant fave site!  www.tencentticker.com/projectr…

So I think I'll indepentently attempt some redesigns of characters Project:Rooftop have done.

At my last job I had a nice regular work schedule, which allowed me regularly "scheduled" times to exercise. I was most often exercising 6 days a week pulling 2-3 sessions daily...oh and I worked graveyard shift, midnights. And my creativity was boundless! Often with too many ideas and inspirations to actually finish most projects I began.

Then I took my current job...with a schedule that...well,...wasn't anywhere near as kind. My exercise sessions became less and less and a noticeable decline in my creative flow followed...

It's taken me until just now to realize I gotta make a change! No excuses. No bargaining. As of March 1st I'm making a change and sticking to it!

2013 started well enough! But new games and such have taken me away from my artwork... so hoprfully in the new year I'll be able to pull a 180°!
I really want to be more productive but I get easily distracted by social conventions, shows, movies, games and more...I had many planned projects this year that stalled out and sputtered to an early demise. Hadn't had a lot of inspiration of late, hopefully that'll change after I get back from Sukoshi Con next weekend!!! Fingers crossed!
I'm back from Sukoshi Con Destination Anime ep3 (2014)! Saw a lot of awesome cosplays by a ton of folks...but just like at Sukoshi Con ep2 I totally missed out on a chance to meet one of the wickedly awesome cosplayers on my FB Friends List...but met the awesome retromortis Love her work! Give her account a peep if you haven't already!  Maybe I'll upload a few photos I took of the hotel grounds. They were beautiful! Maybe if possible I'll try and make it out to a few more local cons in 2014 and come Summer 2015, "SukoshiCON ep4 Destination Anime!" And I WILL NOT MISS ANOTHER CHANCE TO SAY "HI" IN PERSON TO ANOTHER AWESOME FB FRIEND/COSPLAYER! Thanks for Watching! Later peeps!
